Robert’s father founded the business with a humble start, selling watches and necklaces to friends at the local sugar mill. Since then, Gilbert’s Jewelers & Gifts has grown into a beloved local institution, offering a wide range of jewelry pieces and services.
Robert, who joined his father’s business at 13, has been instrumental in the store’s success. With a passion for buying and selling gold and diamonds and crafting specialty jewelry, Robert has continued his family’s legacy with dedication and integrity.
